This cotton wool carding sliver making machine belongs to the domestic first, carding all kinds of Pure wool, rabbit hair, chemical fiber to wool top or wool web, then used for wool mills, semi-worsted plant dedicated proofing.

It can not only carding/combing into wool/fiber/cotton sliver, can also carding into web.

Key Components & Process Flow:

Feed System: Raw fibers are fed uniformly via a hopper or lattice apron, ensuring controlled input density.

Pre-Cleaning Zone:

Licker-in (Taker-in): A spiked roller aggressively opens fiber clumps and removes coarse contaminants (e.g., seed fragments in cotton, vegetable matter in wool).

Mote Knives & Grid Bars: Eject heavier impurities through centrifugal force and airflow.

Main Carding Zone:

Cylinder/Flat Combination:

The high-speed rotating cylinder (covered with fine wire clothing) interacts with stationary/flat-mounted carding surfaces.

For wool processing, workers may incorporate flexible bend-and-blade systems for gentler fiber handling.

Fibers undergo micro-opening, neps reduction, and alignment through combing action.

Doffer & Condenser:

The doffer (slow-moving cylinder) strips fibers from the main cylinder using differential surface speeds.

Condenser rollers compress the fiber web into a cohesive sliver, coiled into cans via a trumpet-shaped guide.

Material-Specific Adaptations:

Cotton Carding: Emphasizes high-speed processing and neps removal, often integrating metallic card clothing for durability.

Wool Carding: Features adjustable roller gaps and anti-static measures to accommodate wool's natural crimp and lanolin content.

Modern variants incorporate automated load balancing, IoT-enabled quality monitoring, and energy-efficient drives, achieving production rates up to 150 kg/hr with ≤ 0.3% residual trash content.
